CDNA Weather Policy
Edithvale Netball Club operate in accordance with Chelsea District Netball policy.  Policy relating to both Extreme heat and wet weather conditions are available on the CDNA website.  In summary,  the following apply:

Extreme heat
The temperature will be obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology at the 5.00 pm update, the day before, and if the forecast temperature in Frankston is 34  degrees and above then all games on outdoor courts that start before 6pm will be cancelled.

In addition, on days of 30 degrees and above the game times will be modified as follows:

• 4 x 8 minute quarters
• 1 ½ minutes at ¼ time & ¾ time |
• bring drinks on to the court
• 3 minutes at half time
• Games will remain at scheduled times 

Wet Weather
All teams required to report to the Sturdee St Courts at advertised times.

• CDNA will make a decision by approximately one hour before if games are cancelled and notify the appointed team/club delegates.
• We do not take the court in cases of hail, lightning or extreme weather conditions.
• If a match is cancelled after ½ time siren then the current score will stand. If the match is cancelled prior to ½ time siren each team will be awarded two premiership points.
